I am Kerry - The Creative Wizard, based in beautiful Lynton & Lynmouth, in North Devon.
I am a self confessed geek and an avid fan of Dungeons & Dragons. I first became the creative wizard making DnD themed dice bags and leather accessories on the side of my professional costume career.
Unfortunately, I can no longer meet the physical demands of my costume career so have re trained to work in data analytics. BUT, this does not satisfy the creative side of me.
I actually enjoy many creative pursuits from acrylic painting, wood carving , mixed media art and sculpting, and digital art, but I have become quite passionate about pyrography and resin art.
My first loves above all, is my husband and my dogs. After loosing my first 2 beloved fur babies, I started creating wooden carved memorial plaques and took to a beautiful wooden chest with my pyrography pen and some acrylic paints. The items I made mean a lot to me. They also helped me to grieve but also remember my precious boys. This is when i decided I would offer pet memorial items to family and friends when they had lost a beloved family member.
In addition to keepsake boxes I have a wide variety of items such as Pyrography coasters / plaques / signs / bookmarks / occasion wooden tags & Resin dice / ornaments / memorial items / Tea-light holders / photo frames keyrings and jewellery. I am happy to include ashes or other personal items in resin orders and if you can supply a print of a paw or hand I can recreate those items in the pyrography art or even in carved hanging decorations.
I have recently added a laser engraver to my arsenal so if perfect if you prefer a more uniform look to your items.
I am lucky enough to be exhibiting some of my ready to go items at the wonderful Lynton Arts & Craft Centre from 7th March 2025 and attend various markets including the Lynton Town Hall Market on the first Saturday of every month, The Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway summer markets and Christmas markets within the twin villages.
