Hi there, I'm Sophie!

[Where It All Began]
My creative journey started when my children were young. As a busy mum, I discovered my love for face painting, finding joy in transforming imagination into smiles. This creative spark led me down an unexpected path - first volunteering as a Teaching Assistant, then becoming a fully qualified SEN TA, where I saw firsthand how creativity could light up a child's world.

[A Dream Takes Shape]
The original vision for Thunder Lizard was born from a love of dinosaurs and children's entertainment. My first creations were dinosaur-themed toys and clothing, designed to bring prehistoric fun to playtime. While my product range has grown far beyond those first reptilian designs, that same sense of wonder and playfulness remains at the heart of everything I make.

[From Hobby to Happiness]
What started as a creative outlet soon blossomed into something more. Success on eBay and Etsy showed me that others valued the care and attention I put into each piece. Now, Thunder Lizard has its own home, where I can share my creations directly with you.

[Crafted With Care]
Every Thunder Lizard item is born in my workshop - a converted log cabin that's become a haven of creativity. Using vinyl and sublimation techniques, I personally design, create, and perfect each piece. From bespoke clothing to personalised bags, cuddly teddies to custom mugs, everything is made with the same attention to detail I'd want for my own family.

Quality isn't just a promise - it's a passion. Every item is triple-checked before leaving my workshop, and I'll be honest - I'm a bit of a perfectionist! Sometimes I'll remake something three or four times until I'm completely happy with it. Each creation is carefully wrapped like a gift, because I believe the unboxing should be just as special as what's inside.

While Thunder Lizard has grown beyond its dinosaur beginnings, some things never change: my commitment to quality, my love of bringing joy through creativity, and my belief that every item should be made with care and wrapped with love.
