My name is Phil, I grew up in north Cornwall and now live in Devon with my beautiful partner and our respective children. I spent the best part of 30 years working in construction as a tradesman and manager but always longed to live a life of freedom and creativity. Some time after meeting my partner who is an artist I decided that family life had given way to career for far too long.
This heart lead business represents the fusion of our energy and ethos. We value integrity, honesty and authenticity and seek to live in harmony with nature and our community. We are inspired by the natural world, traditional values and methods in life and work. Our desire to lead by example to our children primarily has shaped our souls.
We create everything from functional beauty in the form of hand crafted wood work, jewellery using precious metals, crystals, gemstones and hand made wooden beads. We also produce art work in many forms. My partner Jo is a trained seamstress and clothing designer as well as an accomplished artist using just about any medium she chooses. I have trained in counselling and as a life coach and am in the process of finishing books that encourage personal expansion, awareness and authentic empowerment to children and adults. Two dogs, three cats and a bearded dragon share our spaces as if three children didn't keep us engaged enough already.
