Creating whimsy in the English countryside, with the help of my two cats. I love making unique little animal characters from wood. I imagine their little lives and personalities, what jobs they have, what they would wear, and the results are some pretty cute little critters. I never get bored of creating new buddies, and I'm always searching for animals I have never made before (getting very difficult!) I love doing custom requests so please get in touch and inspire me.

I wish I could leave a better than brilliant rating for these two recent purchases ... Emmeline the ermine is VERY fetching in her cherry patterned swimsuit and clutching her rubber duck. And Paco the prairie dog has such a wistful expression on his little face. He's just adorable holding onto his sunflower while perched on a craggy stump.Claire's imagination and whimsy seem limitless !

Little Rae the ringtail cat couldn't be any cuter gathering fall leaves in her pretty yellow tunic sweater. And then there's Finn, the fishing cat who's sooo conflicted over whether he should have his catch for dinner or as his 'catch ya' later' slogan implies, save them for his aquarium. LOVE both critter's outfits and facial expressions ! Claire's carvings are always a delight.

Jethro the Jackal and Nurse Raspberry Rabbit have just arrived and broken the cute-o-meter in the process !
Jethro would typically be a fierce hunter, but has chosen to stalk his prey with a camera instead,all while looking very sporty in his bandana.
My new nurse is providing tender care to a little teddy, but she seems quite capable of handling any animal emergency, whether exotic or domestic.
Lovingly carved and painted, these critters are such fun !
