Hello lovely Folksy customer! I'm Helen and I'm the owner here at The Purple Polka Dot. I first started my business over a decade ago when I was first diagnosed with chronic illness and got into crafting as an escape and distraction. Before I knew it, I was creating more items than I knew what to do with and started selling my makes. Much to my (very pleasant!) surprise, people really liked what I was making and my tiny business has gone from strength to strength ever since. I am so grateful to my lovely customers who have supported my little business over the years and I love seeing how my creations become a part of their lives and family traditions.
I love to work with bright colours and the felt I use is sumptuously soft 40% wool blend felt and a delight to work with. I find the beautiful colours and gorgeous softness of the felt really is therapy at its best!
