A yarn is just a good story and this one starts with… yarn!
Taught to knit as a youngster by a mother, two grandmothers and host of special Aunts, craft and making has always been in my genes. I fondly remember ‘matinee coats’ being knitted on a Saturday afternoon, eagerly anticipating a new arrival, of which there were plenty!
Crafting has always been a passion and I’ve always had a keen eye for design, even as a Geography Teacher, it was all about those corduroy elbow patches and plaid!
I studied Marine Geography and feel in my element at the sea. I love coastal walks and observing the sheer power of the physical landscape, as a result, I take huge inspiration from it.
Becoming a mother definitely changed my priorities. My eldest was born with severe allergies and new parenthood brought many obstacles navigating anaphylaxis. I believe a crocheted peanut is a safe peanut!
These were purchased as a gift for my daughter. She absolutely loves them! They have clearly been made with great care and attention and were beautifully packaged. Many thanks!

Oh wow! The most lovely and thoughtfully presented parcel I have ever received - takes the concept of 'Happy Post' to a new level! Rachel's creations are gorgeous - exquisitely made and full of personality. Cherry Bakewell is for my husband - his favourite cake - and Lolly is for my son when he heads off to university. Perfect gifts!
