Hi, I'm the Charm Weaver and I make entirely hand-sewn treasure bowls — each one a joyful little celebration of colour, fabric, and form.
I craft these little vessels using charm packs and fabric remnants gathered on my travels.
Many feature the iconic designs of designers like Kaffe Fassett, Philip Jacobs, Tula Pink and William Morris. I blend their artistry with co-ordinating prints — new and old — to create something truly unique and individual.
I love maximalist colour schemes and what feels like a riot - but my bowls are rooted in colour therapy, intended to evoke emotion...green for calm and balance, orange for excitement, purple for luxury etc. I dive into this on my Instagram account. Sometimes people are drawn to colours because they like them, other times because they need them.
With a deep love of fine arts and a lifetime managing pain, stitching is my meditation and it brings me joy. So my intention with each bowl is to spin a little of that happiness out into the world, whilst helping you keep track of your earrings, car keys, trinkets and anything else that wanders off.
Each bowl is stitched with intention, often they emerge in pairs or just evolve into spontaneous collections.
