Making magic with wool! Needle felted artworks, kits and other creations.

Studio ZIA is based on Dartmoor in Devon.

My name is Emese Hall and I am an artist-teacher with many years of experience.  Making makes me happy. I quickly fell in love with the tactility and versatility of needle felting - it is a highly mindful craft that one can easily get lost in.  I enjoy making a range of 2D and 3D pieces on various scales. I generally have a preference for a simple and stylised look, with folk art influences.

Working with wool is positive for wellbeing and I'm excited to introduce others to the creative possibilities of magically felting fibres.  My kits are aimed at beginners. As a pledged Green Maker I am committed to minimising my environmental impact by using ethically sourced, natural and sustainable materials.  For example, most of my wool is British and/or preloved, I use reclaimed electrical wire for armatures and much of my equipment is second-hand.
