“Coral reef wall hangings”
I live and work in Sheffield which is as far from the coast as you can get in the UK. My thoughts often turn to the sea and having crocheted and designed patterns for years, I've only recently started making these coral reef wall hangings. Inspired by bleached coral where colourful coral dies and turns white because of the warming of the oceans, these hangings are all in muted tones. I only ever use natural materials and recycled yarns.
Each hanging is unique and will have small imperfections due to the hand made nature of the work.
