About Shannon Sait Designs

Shannon Sait Designs

Artist and Maker

I am originally from West Yorkshire and was brought up around Leeds and Bradford. I shared my grandfathers passion for art from a young age, and was determind to go to art collage from being seven years old when I discovered ‘art collage’ was a real thing. I never deviated from this mission and eventually spent two blissfull years studying for art foundation in Huddersfield Collage of Art.

From there I went on to study ‘Fine Art painting’ at the amazing Brighton Polytechnic where I gained my BAHons Degree in fine art.

Brighton, East Sussex and in particular the South Downs quickly stole my heart, and I knew I had found my forever home. While painting was my chosen discipline, I always had a deep-rooted passion for jewellery making—a creative side hobby that never left me.

In 2022, a period of ill health meant I had to slow down, but it turned out to be a turning point. During this time, I explored new ways of creating jewellery and, in the process, taught myself the art of silversmithing. This unexpected journey reignited my creativity in a way I never anticipated, leading to the handcrafted designs you see today.

Every piece I create is a reflection of my artistic journey—combining traditional craftsmanship with a painter’s eye for detail. I invite you to explore my collection and discover unique, handcrafted jewellery that tells a story.
