Hello, I’m Sandra, a knitting designer and textile artist based in Slaithwaite, West Yorkshire. I create designs inspired by nature and traditional knitting techniques, bringing a touch of timeless elegance to everyday knits.
My designs feature brioche, cabling, stranded colourwork, and lace knitting, and many have been published in leading UK knitting magazines such as The Knitter and Simply Knitting. I grew up knitting with my mum and grandma, but it was later in life that I truly fell in love with designing my own patterns and sharing them with others.
Alongside designing, I teach workshops and curate supply products for crafters, including artisan ceramic buttons handmade by South African women’s cooperatives and carefully chosen yarn & fabric bundles to inspire your next project.
My aim is to create designs and kits that help knitters build skills, find calm in making, and create something beautiful to keep or gift.
