Hi, I’m Silke, a maker based in beautiful Dorset. I’ve always loved sewing, and there’s something incredibly satisfying about turning something worn and weathered—like a sail that’s seen a bit of sea spray—into something completely fresh and full of character.

Salt Sand Sunshine is all about colour, creativity, and a touch of coastal spirit. I use real upcycled sailcloth and vibrant fabrics to handcraft bags that are as unique as you are—think tough, cheerful, and definitely not something you’ll find on the high street. From sturdy Sail Bags to bright fabric Totes and little pouches, everything is made by hand with care (and a good cup of tea nearby).

I’m passionate about sustainability and love giving materials a second chance. Each piece has its own story, and no two are quite the same—that’s part of the fun.
