Welcome to My Artistic Journey

Hello and welcome to my little corner of creativity! My name is Aarthy and I’m thrilled to share my story with you.

I’ve been drawing since I was just 5 years old, and I’m proud to say that I am a self-taught artist. Art has always been my passion, my escape, and my way of expressing the world around me. Over the years, I've delved into various forms of painting, but I’ve found my true love in watercolours. The delicate blend of colours and the fluidity of the medium allow me to express the beauty I see in landscapes, floral compositions, and the serene ocean.

One of my favourite themes to explore in my artwork is the beauty of rain and clouds. There’s something so magical about the way light dances on raindrops, and I aim to capture that emotion in my pieces. Apart from watercolour, I also create acrylic canvases, delve into Indian art forms like mandala fusion art, and portray Hindu gods, each piece infused with my unique touch.

What truly sets my artwork apart is the intention I put into each creation. Before I even start painting, I take the time to worship and meditate, channelling tranquillity and divine peace into my work. I believe that this energy resonates with those who bring my art into their spaces, creating an atmosphere of calm and positivity.

By day, I work as a full-time Teaching Assistant and have the joy of teaching art at Tolworth Girls School every Saturday. I’m passionate about nurturing young creativity, and I also conduct online sessions aimed at encouraging children to reduce their screen time and embrace art as a fulfilling habit. It’s truly rewarding to see their skills develop and watch their imaginations come to life!

All my paintings come from a smoke-free and pet-free environment, so you can rest assured that your new piece of art is created in a clean and inspiring space.
