I’m Tabs Tebay, the founder of RosyRetro®, an eco-friendly, non-smoking work environment located in rural South Hams, Devon, U.K. I have a professional design background in Art & Theatre BA (Hons) and take real pride in the quality of my work. I love colour!
Using my years of experience in the Knitting & Crochet community, I design and make all my items with the utmost care and love, using quality fabrics and materials. As a knitter and crocheter myself, I know how to design and make stitch markers that work smoothly! I am also proud to say that I'm a high functioning Autistic with OCD and I feel this makes my attention to detail, colour and quality exceptional. I love being a positive role model within the neurodivergent community.
All RosyRetro Coloured Ringo Stitch Markers are made from scratch using bespoke handcrafted techniques with original designs by me.
Fabrics used in my other products include Liberty of London and many other contemporary designers. I love working with quality cotton fabrics.
The name of my Shop, RosyRetro , pays homage to my wonderful Irish great-great-grandmother, Nana Polly Rose who was a wonderful woman who ran a bakery in Sunderland, whilst my other great-grandparents ran a successful hattiers in Edinburgh.
I grew up in a highly creative household with an artist father and mother who was a jazz musician and composer.
After my degree, I took a keen interest in photography and historical clothing and costume design inspired by pop culture and fashion. Everything I do involves lots of colour!
My prices reflect the work and care that go into each item: I try to keep them as low as possible for the customer and can keep postage minimal when combining items.
I believe in quality customer care and quality items!
