A warm welcome from the Ragcat family

We’re a family of passionate artists based in the heart of Kent, and we create original, handmade art and ceramics that bring warmth, charm, and character to any home. Each item is crafted with love, using traditional techniques combined with our own unique flair, ensuring that everything you find here is truly one-of-a-kind.

The process begins with an idea or inspiration drawn from the world around us, from the beautiful countryside of Kent to the raw energy of the Cornish coast, where we have our summer studio.

Our ceramics range from functional items including mugs and bowls to decorative and statement pieces to brighten your home, wheel-thrown or hand-built by Julie Carter.

In addition to ceramics, we also offer a variety of original paintings, prints, cards and mixed-media art, collectively created by Julie, husband Paul and daughter Sophie (not forgetting Millie the cat!).

At heart, we are a close knit family team of creators, each with their own unique creative style and talent. We believe that art should be accessible, personal, and meaningful, which is why we offer a range of products that can fit into any home or lifestyle.
