Quaker Furniture was founded in 2012 by my father, who out of necessity had to work from home in order to provide for his family. Through this necessity he taught himself carpentry, and over many years developed his skills designing and creating products that were sold at our local market in Barnard Castle. Becoming well known in the community as the "furniture guy" or the "bench man", my Dad's car would be bursting with his creations. Through his unrelenting work ethic and unwillingness to give up, Quaker Furniture Ltd now ships furniture all over the UK, with best selling products on ecommerce websites and record breaking customer reviews and feedback.
