About Niddy Noddy Knits

Traditionally handmade textiles, made in the heart of the Black Country

I am a hand weaver, spinner, knitter and felt maker working from my studio in Stourbridge. I take inspiration from the legacy of heritage crafts, the beauty of natural fibres and from the endless design possibilities that are offered to me from combining colours, patterns and textures.
I am increasingly using British sourced wool products, mills or artisan dyers, with sustainability, traceability and high welfare of animals and land becoming more important to me. I have been looking for ways to incorporate my loom and felt waste into my work, producing some unique items !
I create useful accessory pieces such as scarves, cowls, bags, and purses and also household items such as rugs, tea towels, wash mitts, cushions and felted bird nest pods. All are beautiful and practical with many of them being a one of a kind design.
