About Mooyaka

Mooyaka

Tiny sculptures, huge charm: handmade, one of a kind needle-felted dogs and pet portraits.

Welcome to my little corner of woolly joy! I hand-felt characterful animal sculptures and bespoke pet portraits in the 14–18 cm range. Every piece is unique—sculpted from high-quality wool with careful needle work, subtle shading and fine stitched details.

What I make

Ready-made dogs (14 cm and 26 cm) — one-of-a-kind pieces, gift-ready.

Custom pet portraits — your pets likeness in felt, finished on a wooden base. Usually dogs and cats but will consider any animal.

How commissions work

Booking: 50% non-refundable deposit secures your slot.

Photos: Please send 3–5 clear images showing colouring and personality.

Lead time: Usually two weeks from deposit and photos. If I’m busy, we’ll agree a revised timeframe before I start.

Approval: I’ll share photos on completion. One round of minor tweaks is included.

Balance & dispatch: Final payment due on approval; I post once cleared.

Materials & care

Natural wool fibres, wire armature (when required), stitched details, wooden base.

Display indoors, away from direct sunlight, moisture and little paws.

Dust gently with a soft brush; avoid pulling fibres.

Packaging & gifting

All pieces are gift-boxed with tissue, a care card and a hand-signed certificate of authenticity. If it’s a present, I’m happy to include a short gift note—just ask.

Shipping

UK: Royal Mail Tracked (24/48). I’ll send your tracking number after dispatch.

Processing times: Ready-made pieces ship within 3–5 working days; commissions after approval and final payment.

Returns & policies

Ready-made items: 14-day returns accepted (buyer pays return postage; item must be in original condition).

Commissions: As bespoke items, they’re not eligible for change-of-mind returns. The 50% deposit becomes non-refundable once work begins or materials are purchased.

Damage in transit: If something arrives damaged, contact me within 48 hours with photos so I can help.

Ordering at a glance

Choose a ready-made piece or request a custom portrait.

For portraits: pay the 50% deposit and send reference photos.

I confirm your estimated completion date (two weeks typical; longer by agreement in busy periods).

Approve photos, pay the balance, and I’ll dispatch your sculpture, tracked and gift-boxed.
