I love making earrings and jewellery, especially if I can upcycle unloved or broken into shiny and new.

I started making earrings for myself, mending old ones and refashioning ones I had fallen out of love with.

Finding it wasn't as hard as I thought to make jewellery, friends and family started getting lots of sparkling presents from me, and it became a bit of an addiction.

Various friends and relatives have given me old buttons, broken bead necklaces, and unloved earrings, and I try to upcycle as much as I can combining old and new in my necklaces and earrings.

All my earrings are put onto new sterling silver ear-wires to ensure a bright future for my earrings.

I love experimenting with different techniques and materials, and no two pairs of earrings are exactly alike, in fact sometimes the pairs themselves are different.

Jewellery making is a hobby, and I am usually helped by my dogs . Maggie has a cushion on the workbench to oversee production (and spot cats), Lily just snores in the corner.
