I started sewing and crochet as a child, taught by my very talented Aunt. I have continued to sew & crochet for myself, family and friends but when I retired from the corporate world I decided to make it more than just a hobby. I have become increasingly obsessed with machine embroidery...

I live in a small village in Oxfordshire and when I am not spending time in my small sewing room creating, I love to garden.

I am Nanny to two beautiful grandaughters which is how my shop name came to be, my eldest grandaughers friends call me "Nanna Ruth" so that was that.
