I started woodturning over 20 years ago as a hobby, now after working as an Engineer and Design and Technology teacher I would like to get back to making beautiful things. All the work is handmade and turned from wood that is responsibly sourced, recycled or reused, I try to only use finishes that have a natural base. I try to make things that bring out the natural beauty in the materials used, wood is my first choice as it has such a wonderful feel and look to it. I hope to expand to use other materials and crafts in the future. My first passion in craft is wood turning, wood turned bowls are my favourite to make but I will have a go with other types of turning if the right piece of wood comes along, the wood itself is my inspiration. At the time I first thought of selling my items I had a little red car hence the name of the shop. Enjoy looking at the work. Thanks Rob

Very pleased with my purchase. I searched high and low for a bowl turned from Horse Chestnut. No luck. And then I found loads on Folksy at very reasonable prices. Nice!

So pleased with this! Bought as a birthday gift from me to me. The grain in the wood is beautiful and I love the way the glass candle holder sits proud of the base. Such a good size too. Really well packaged. Perfect!
