Hi, I'm Janis. I live in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

I have two beautiful children 21 years apart, a beautiful daughter, whom with her partner have a gorgeous boy, my Grandson. and my handsome son.
I also have two white female sibling cats who are like chalk & cheese and both really funny.

I suffer with Fibromyalgia, which is widespread chronic pain.

My pain can determine what my limits are, often keeping me locked at home.

Making the clay items helps me to forget the pain a little.

I'm too busy concentrating to think about my nerves firing.

My inspiration comes from nature, colours, even how I feel on a particular day.

Purple is used for ribbons to represent the condition Fibromyalgia and the Butterfly symbolises the chronic pain which is a primary symptom. Therefore Purple Butterflies may be seen in my shop, to symbolise this and send out love to fellow sufferers.
