Creating needle felted pets for you to cherish

I live on the Isle of Wight with my husband and my 2 dogs, Bee the Boston Terrier and Sybil the French Bulldog.
I started needle felting in 2022 as a hobby with my grandaughter. I wasnt very good!
Then one day colleague at work asked me to make a little yorkshire terrier for his partner. I was adamant that I couldn't make anything that resembled a dog!
Anyway I had a go and it wasnt half bad and more importantly he loved it!
So I started making family members dogs and got better with each project.
I advertised that i was now taking commissions and things went crazy. So my hobby became a hobby that paid for itself.
Since then I have done regular craft fairs and do ok but their are alot of people at craft markets now selling items that are not handmade and purchased from abroad and sold cheaply.
So that is what led me to Folksy ....here my journey will hopefully continue.
