My name is Iwona, I am a Polish-born stained glass designer-maker who loves creating unforgettable pieces of jewellery and home decor from stained glass. I often use found objects such as driftwood and sea glass in my work. I am based in Dunblane, Scotland, a gorgeous town with rich art history surrounded by beautiful Scottish nature. I am inspired by the colours and textures of stained glass and how it transforms depending on time of day, weather, season or landscape. The possibilities of creating in this medium are endless. Most of the time, I use a traditional Tiffany technique when working with stained glass but I also work on larger leaded stained glass projects commissioned by private clients. I absolutely love bringing to life the traditional materials of stained glass for everyone to enjoy. I started making creations from stained glass in 2016 initially as a form of art therapy. With time my techniques improved and I started sharing my work with others. I have now many returning customers and hope to gain many more. This little stained glass piece is beautifully designed and made. The chick sits perfectly on two small legs and I have placed it on a window sill to make the most of the light.
It arrived quickly and safely.
