Firstly, welcome to It's a TwinThing, thank you for visiting our shop.
We are Carol & Sue from God's own country Yorkshire! We have lived here all our lives and love our home town.
Both of us worked at HBOS for a long time but when we had the chance of voluntary redundancy we bit their hands off! Carol went onto work for Calderdale Council and I became a teaching assistant.
We are both retired now so we wanted to use our crafting and creative skills we learned over the years. These include sewing, knitting, crocheting, needle felting, decoupage, hand painting, creating things from resin and clay, embroidery and cross stitch. The only medium we've not done is drawing, we're not good at that!
All our pieces are home crafted and made from Jesmonite water based acrylic resin and gypsum. They are individually handmade so this means there may be small imperfections (bubbles). We try our very best to eliminate these but sometimes mother nature takes control.
We most welcome custom made requests, if you want something making let us know. The only thing to point out is due to the nature of pigment colouring it's almost impossible to create two pieces exactly the same colour. We do our utmost to fulfil customer requirements but we are human after all!
