Beautiful leather goods handcrafted using heritage craft skills

Hello my name is Sharon and I’m the owner of Hide. I’ve always loved creating and crafting since I was little and after attending a leather craft course I was hooked. I set about honing my skills and with lots of encouragement from family and friends I decided to launch Hide….. Hide to represent the wonderful skins used to make each piece and also a safe place to hide your cards and hard-earned money.
I mostly use full grain vegetable tanned leathers from world famous tanneries renowned for their superior quality, durability and developing the most beautiful patina that only gets better with use.
I love everything about leather, the sound, feel, smell, there’s nothing like it.
Every aspect of the process is crafted by hand, cutting, punching, saddle stitching, bevelling and burnishing. Each item is individual although some designs are repeated all are unique and with care should last a lifetime.
