Hello! I am Heather, the creator behind Heather Makes Glass, and as you might have guessed, I'm totally obsessed with all things glass.
My work merges traditional techniques with contemporary design to create distinctive pieces that are playful, nostalgic and sometimes a bit spooky. I am inspired by nature, toys from my childhood, and anything silly that makes me smile.
I design and make all of my pieces in my cosy purple studio in Harrow, London. By cosy, I mean small, and by studio, I mean spare bedroom.
Quality and sustainability are super important to me. I carefully source premium materials from trusted UK suppliers and recycle materials whenever possible. I love finding a use for unloved glass!
