Hello! We’re Louise & Emily, sisters and the hearts behind Hear For George — a little shop promoting British Sign Language.

Our story began in 2022, when Louise’s son George was born profoundly deaf. Struggling to find inclusive ways to celebrate his milestones, we started creating our own — designs that share the beauty of sign language and help spread Deaf awareness.

From our cosy studio in Middlesbrough, we handmake BSL-inspired cards, gifts, and our original hearing aid/cochlear implant info bag — unique designs you won’t find anywhere else.
