Welcome to Gnarly Crafts! I am a small Welsh crafter who implements traditional artisanal techniques to create modern items using unwanted materials.

All the items here are handmade by myself.

My primary skill is wood carving. This arose from my interest in forestry conservation and bushcraft during and after studying environmental science. However I have developed a general passion for utilising various natural or traditional materials.

Honouring the orgins and practicality of ancient crafts, and the contemporary importance of reducing waste during production, my designs have a minimalistic slant. Aiming to create simple and clean objects whereby the materials and processes involved are the focal points of an item.
