Woodcarving kits created with care for people that care to create

I'm a self taught woodcarver and artist. I came to woodcarving through a deeply felt need to be out in the woods and amongst the trees. I first started to carve in 2014 and quickly found a love for the craft. Just a year later my art spoon carvings and jewellery carvings had found a worldwide market and I decided to give up my job to pursue my passion.

For the past 10 years I have also taught woodcarving, contributed to instructive books, written magazine articles on woodcarving and delivered talks on the topic. It is through this teaching and sharing of my woodcarving experience with many thousands of people over the years that my Woodcarving Craft Kits came into being. Although woodcarving requires very little in terms of tools and equipment, just a knife, a piece of wood and an idea; it is often the idea of what to carve, a lack of confidence in drawing or being unsure of what will work and what won't work that proves to be the biggest barrier to getting started.

I have designed and developed my Woodcarving Craft Kits to help people get past these difficulties. Across the range of carving kits there are designs suited to complete beginners, more challenging projects for craftspeople with some previous experience and even more complex or intricate designs for experienced woodcarvers.
