About dodozakka

dodozakka

Dodozakka — slow-made pieces for everyday calm, handmade in Scotland.

Dodozakka is a handmade brand offering fabric and yarn creations — all crocheted or sewn by me, Karen. Originally from Hong Kong and now based in Scotland, I started this journey in Malaysia, where I first turned my lifelong love for fabric into a creative path.

Inspired by my grandmother, a seamstress, I’ve been drawn to sewing since childhood. After years living in Seoul and Kuala Lumpur, I began crafting with Indian handblock print fabric — a traditional textile full of vibrant colors and cultural heritage. Though my handmade fabric products are coming soon, I’ve recently expanded into crochet and knit designs to reflect my new life in Scotland.

I believe handmade pieces can bring calm, warmth, and joy to everyday life — whether it’s a tote bag for your commute or a scrunchie that makes you smile.
