Hello, I'm Helen.

At DabbleArtByHelen, I enjoy creating digital art. I mostly draw fun, lovable animal characters. My drawings have always been very three dimensional and many moons ago I went to art college studying 3D Design. I didn't carry on with art after I graduated but worked in digital and online publishing, from book layout to web production for a scientific publishers. I wanted to start drawing again as my three children were getting bigger, so I decided to bring my skills together and teach myself to draw digitally. I thought this might be a space saver too domestically!

I love greetings cards and stationery but I like the ones that are fun, kind and positive but don't rely on rude words and shocking the world. I also wanted my designs to be as eco friendly as they could be so my cards are all printed on recycled card and are fully recyclable. My badges and keyrings are also created with responsibly sourced wood.

I draw at our kitchen table (when I'm not looking after my family's needs) accompanied by our little black and white cat Dot.
All of my products are designed by me digitally and I use production partners to print small batches for sale.
