I crochet so I don't have to pay for a therapist

Hi, I'm Kate.
I learnt to crochet when I was around 9 or 10, and I learnt to knit when I was around 16.
After I had a mental breakdown in 2015 I tried crochet as part of my recovery and here we are 10 years later and I'm still loving the craft, the community, the dopamine and the calmness it brings to my mind.
I make all sorts ranging from preemie beanies to hexigon cardigans , baby blankets to king size throws.
Any free time is crochet time and it's not unusual to see me working on a project on the train, doctors waiting rooms anywhere really.where I go a project bag goes too.
