All the pieces in my shop are handmade by me Jane Walters-Morris. My work is colourful and bright and I believe that in order to have a happy life we need to surround ourselves with objects that bring us joy.
I Presently make wall hangings, bowls and plates, often in a family group of three. All my pieces however are unique and will not be repeated (unless you break one and need a replacement). My pieces have my own mark and are numbered and logged. I make my pieces by slab building, pinching and coiling.
I'm lucky enough to live in beautiful north Nottinghamshire right at the edge of Sherwood Forest and I work in a studio in 'The Dukeries' on the Welbeck Estate.
Like many people, finding Ceramic Art was a life changing experience for me and I would encourage anyone to find a class and have a go! I'm sure you won't regret it
