Hi, I’m Maisy!
I live in Cambridge and by day I’m a scientist researching neurodegeneration and conditions like Alzheimer’s. By night (and weekends), I swap the lab coat for beads, colours and shiny little creations. ✨

After having some unexpected spare time following surgery in the summer (I'm part bionic now, which is kinda cool), I finally listened to what friends and family had been telling me for years — “you should sell those!” Bean & Bloom was born out of that mix of recovery, a lifelong love for making, and the reminder that life’s too short not to follow the joyful, creative things.

Inspired by nature, fruity picnic vibes and my magpie-tendencies for all things colourful and sparkly, I design one-of-a-kind handmade jewellery and bits & bobs for people who love a touch of whimsy.
