Hello
My name is Ruthie . I design, create and make handmade jewellery mainly bracelets, but necklaces also.
I work in my little lounge in my little house in Wiltshire . Nothing fancy just a little five ft fold up table in front of my sofa. All the jewellery sold in this shop are made by myself . I work on my own .
I incorporate recycled buttons and beads into my creations . My jewellery items are not exclusively created from recycled materials although a high percentage of my materials are reused . I love the ethos of breathing new life into used products , taking an old unwanted , potentially broken or damaged piece of jewellery , removing the materials and items I can reuse and produce another beautiful piece of jewellery before it is just aimlessly discarded. reducing waste and being friendly to the planet and the environment .
Almost 100% of my items are 1 offs and completely unique I rarely make the same item completely the same again.
I take orders for personalised/ bespoke jewellery…
I feel there is something very special indeed about creating a specific piece of jewellery for a specific person and bringing them together .
It gives me so much joy .
I recently had feed back from a lady who had bought a personalised bracelet for her granddaughter… she said “ Daisy loves her bracelet she won’t take it off “ this completely fills my heart with joy.
I like to think of my bracelets as “ happy bracelets “
1)Happy items saved before being thrown
away. Being used again for more beautiful creations .
2) Happy planet - less waste, more items being re used ( even if only on my tiny small scale)
3) Happy customers enjoying their new jewellery .
4) Happy me knowing I am reducing waste, reusing items , creating beautiful accessories ( which i absolutely love doing ) and spreading happiness with my happy bracelets .
