About Bark & Beak

I’m a needle felt artist who specialises in dogs & woodland animals

I’ve always loved art and animals and last year found needle felting. Some wool, some needles and you can create any shape, any size and any character. I purposely don’t use patterns as I love the quirkiness you get when you can be as creative as you like.
I source British wool from independent retailers where possible.
It’s such a lovely craft to do and I’m constantly learning. My two dogs Henry and Leo are definitely my unpaid muses

Laura has given us our beautiful Jackie back again This commission piece with Laura's artistry skill compassion and care has recreated the Jackie we know and love She even recreated his much loved squeaky ball he had by his side always until he went over the rainbow bridge on February 8th this year Laura has with breathtaking accuracy captured the essence of our Jackie We thank her from the bottom of our hearts

These character filled, delightful creatures arrived promptly, nicely wrapped and well protected in plenty of packaging. I treated myself to a scruffy loveable dog and the running dog and mouse are for family abroad. I know they'll love them as much as me. They have such wonderful personality and movement. The seller thoughtfully reduced the delivery costs for multiple purchases and communicated well.
