Beautiful unique handmade items from resin, reclaimed oak, slate and cotton.

It all started a few years ago. I had unfortunately lost my Mum and the following year my Dad became very poorly with Mesotheleoma, a cancer caused by asbestos exposure. I was finding working as an early years teacher and looking after my Dad very difficult and I realised I needed to get a hobby, and so I tried resin.

Fast forward a few years and my love of resin and my expertise has increased tremendously. I enjoy making things from a few materials (as I used to do as a florist when I was younger). My husband suggested we try a craft stall to sell a few bits. We love doing these and the community of stall holders is like a family.

Over the years I have turned my hand to sewing (self taught on my sewing machine) and my husband has joined me with making things from reclaimed wood and using slate. We love designing and making each individual item.

We then decided to open a shop here on Folksy (and I have a facebook page) to get a wider audience as it's so lovely that others want to buy my unique handmade items.
