Hi I'm Susan and I design and create my handmade jewellery from my home in Edinburgh, Scotland. My lovely Dad made me my work bench which fits perfectly into my room and is where I spend most of my time.
Each piece of my handmade jewellery is carefully made using traditional techniques. The majority of my pieces are created from sterling silver although I do also enjoy working with copper and brass. The silver pieces which reach the legal minimum weight for hallmarking are marked with both my makers mark and the traditional hallmarks from the Edinburgh assay office.
My newest range is inspired by nature and the lichen that I see growing in the woodlands of Scotland where I love going for walks with my children. I'm very fortunate living in Edinburgh as there are so many sources of inspiration from traditional and modern architecture to a range of art galleries and museums and of course hills and parks and the sea.
