I'm a jewellery designer and maker working from my home studio in north Leicestershire. I originally trained in theatrical costume design but three children later decided I wanted to be able to work for myself from home.
I am mostly self taught but have taken several short courses in areas such as silversmithing and enamelling and and always keen to learn new techniques.
My designs are made using traditional silversmithing tools and techniques from sterling silver and copper wire and sheet metal. I love to add colour to my work and will often incorporate gemstones, enamel, sea glass and glass beads.
I am registered for hallmarking with the London assay office, all silver items weighing above 7.78g will be hallmarked.
