“Making Dog Bows Out of Old Clothes”
Hello! I love sewing, thrifting, dogs and recycling so I smushed those elements together to become Snoot You Sir! I specialise in bowties for dogs that fit on martingale collars. I have two gorgeous Lurchers and could never find cute bowties or bandanas that would work with their big necks and funny collars, so I took things into my own hands.
Everything I make it a one of a kind. All the fabric I use is being saved from refuse. It's either from offcuts I've saved from other projects, left over bits my friends kindly give me or it's from the discount rails of charity shops. The same can be said for the yarn I use in scarfs and snoods!
All greetings card illustrations are free from AI and drawn by myself. I studied art (many years ago!) at college and have always loved drawing. I've recently branched out into digital pieces and started making cards. I was also lucky enough to draw and design the posters for The Great Global Greyhound Walk this year, and I'll be doing next year too!
You can find me making a mess on instagram and facebook, sharing how I make things, things I find and my lovely hounds. I'm occasionally at craft fairs and love getting to meet people (and their lovely dogs)!
