Pottery has been my passion for a few years now and there is still much to learn and experiment with. My friend and I started going to local pottery classes and I got hooked on clay's versatility and potential. I throw forms on the wheel and also like to handbuild as well.
My grandchildren encouraged me to make fairy toadstools for their garden and this snowballed into making Fairy Toadstool Houses which have been very popular with buyers at the craft fairs I sell at. I am inspired by nature and love the way clay can be textured and coloured.
I have a studio in my garden and enjoy letting my imagination run riot.
