I am an illustrator, designer & children’s writer based in Bath. Inspired by the natural world, I like to play with colour, bold graphics and minimalist layouts to create beautiful pieces that make people smile. Alongside producing my own illustrated product ranges, I have published three picture books; created cover art, book illustrations and editorial artwork for a range of publications; and designed websites and branding for a number of small independent businesses.
I have a degree in Architecture from The University of Bath and founded Ruth Thorp Studio as a base for all of my current and future creative ventures. I love coffee, dancing, great design, beautiful spaces, reading and beach walks back home in Pembrokeshire where I feel most creative!
