I knit and crochet for a hobby. Knitting and crocheting is part of my downtime, time to relax after a stressful but rewarding day as a Care manager.
My Grandma taught me to knit when I was a young girl and it has stayed with me. I stumbled across crocheting when I, unfortunately, broke my wrist and only had the use of one hand, I finally mastered the technique and have been able to produce some beautiful crochet projects, blankets, bags, cushions and table coasters.
I vary the styles and like the simple classics. Most of the items I make are a one-off item, and so styles and colours will vary I like to put a twist on a retro cardigan by using modern and colourful wool. The knitted blankets are colourful, and my favourite blanket is a stylish white blanket, gender neutral it makes an ideal gift for a baby shower party or a baby's christening.
Everything I knit or crochet is by hand, with no machines, and to put it into perspective, an item can take me anywhere from 4 hours to 14 hours, and I generally have a few projects on the go at the same time.
All my items are wrapped in tissue paper to prevent the pieces becoming damaged during transit.

I'm sorry but I'm disappointed in one coaster.. not exactly the same as the first one I opened .. done in a hurry. These were to be a gift! I will be contacting the sender.
