Hi, I’m Marco D Blanco, the illustrator and storyteller of the as of yet unpublished books of the Magic Lantern. I moved to Dorset in the UK over a decade ago where I met my wife and where we are now raising our children.
I’ve been working incredibly hard to create the world of the Magic Lantern for the past five years, and as I now turn the page and set sail into putting it all together I’m sharing this journey with you.

What is the Magic Lantern?
It is a story about Mago, a little boy, with moss-green hair, a tail and more determination than common sense, who finds a magic flame in a lantern from an abandoned shop.
It’s a small series of books that tell you all about the bonkers adventures that they get into on their trip around the world.
