My passion is creating colourful and fun crocheted and knitted items with a practical use.

I have been knitting and making things since childhood, and self-taught myself crochet about 10 years ago (my crochet style is a 'thrower' apparently!). Having recently found myself with more time on my hands, I am pursuing a long held ambition to turn this hobby into a small business and publish my own patterns. My aim is to create beautiful crafted items that will bring joy in their new home.

I create most of my items using acrylic yarn because of the lovely soft texture that modern yarns now offer, the wide colour range available and the durability. It also helps me to keep the costs as low as possible. I appreciate that this may not be everyone's 'yarn of choice' and so if you see an item that you like but wish it was made in a different material, please message me to discuss options and prices.

No cats, but I do have one Horsfield tortoise!
