Creator of fused glass decorative items

I have loved glass, so I was over the moon when a friend offered to lend me her small glass kiln. I was hooked straight away but making jewellery was not my “thing” . so, I only go and buy myself a large kiln and have never looked back. I have turned what was a garden retreat into my own “glass studio” thus named “Little Glass Den”. The only difficulty has been curbing “ no half measures to life” approach- once I’m in I’m all in so found it really hard to not buy everything I saw. My stock of completed projects was growing by the day so what started out as a hobby soon evolved into a business.

I have had a lot of individual requests from friends and family and I must admit, I get very happy when someone loves one of my pieces just knowing that I have brought a smile to someone’s face makes my day.

There is one last little barrier to my work floor. I am owned by a little Maltese called Teddy, who, if he had his own way, would be sat on my lap all day and everyday. We have made a compromise- he now has another new bed in the studio and once he sees me move away from my work table he is literally there right in front of me waiting to be picked up so he can go back on my knee whilst still in my wheelchair so he can continue using me as his local bus service.
