Hope you enjoy seeing how I interpret my landscape paintings. This is the way I am bringing the timeless power of nature indoors and to open up a windowless wall.

I am an amateur, self trained artist. I love drawing and painting. I began sketching people at secondary school and later started painting watercolour landscapes. I have travelled the world, exploring and living in many beautiful places. Drawing on my experiences I create original compositions, combining different landscapes from memory. I have also added small animals to some of my paintings - if look carefully you will spot them. These paintings represent different stages of my journey until I settled in the UK.

I like working with acrylic paints. I mostly use paint straight from the tube or mix it on the canvas while painting. Starting with a rough pencil sketch from the ideas in my head, I work the detail up with paint until the picture is complete. Each large painting (60”x80”) takes me about 30 hours.

Finally, since I love creating and not copying, these paintings are unique. I do not repeat my own work. I will sign on the back of the canvas with a small signature and D/M/Y when sold, unless you ask to sign in the front or not at all.
