Knitting is my passion

I am a reluctant retiree. I loved to work but ill health forced me, eventually, at the age of 71 to give it up. Having been a bookkeeper at the same company for many years, I gave up creative accounting for creative knitting. I learned to knit when I was about 5, my Nan taught me. She also showed me how to pluck chickens, gut fish and do crosswords. I am happy to say that I only really kept up with the knitting and the crosswords.
I have RA in my hands, and so I suffer pain on a daily basis, but I also think the knitting helps my joints not to seize up.
I hope people will enjoy my work, for at least as long as I am able to produce it.
