Handmade, small-batch decorations and accessories created slowly from upcycled denim and well-loved fabrics

Hi, I am Becky, I’m the maker behind Joni and the Wild. I sew small-batch home decorations and accessories using upcycled denim and fabric scraps - the kind of pieces that are a bit rustic and full of character.

I started sewing as a way to slow things down and make something tangible in a very busy world. I love giving leftover fabrics a second life, especially old denim, and turning them into things that feel warm, familiar and bring to back to life the beauty of vintage pre-loved denim. I love to sew early in the morning with a bit of Joni Mitchell or Fleetwood Mac in the background... happy days.

Everything is made at home, slowly and thoughtfully, so no two pieces are ever the same. I’m inspired by music, the colours and forms of denim, and the beauty in imperfect things.
